WHAT: Awarded a $107 million grant to Lost Creek Wind Farm in Dekalb County, Mo.
WHY IT’S AN OUTRAGE: Rep. Russ Carnahan, D-Mo., whose brother Tom founded Lost Creek, consistently supported the 2009 stimulus program. Moreover, the Carnahan brothers are on record as advocates of a bill to set national renewable energy standards that would mandate 15 percent of electricity come from renewable energy sources. It cannot be a coincidence that Lost Creek Wind Farm has benefited.
