Despite a long history of supporting unions and workplace organizing, liberal nonprofit group Media Matters for America refused labor organizers when they submitted a petition to represent MMFA’s own workers.
According to a filing with the National Labor Relations Board, the watchdog group had “no reply” when Service Employees International Union Local 500 submitted its request for recognition on April 9.
