Racist Mexicans want to ban Americans from their country because of coronavirus

The United States is so infected with the coronavirus that Mexicans don’t want us crossing their Northern border.

So can we call them racist for that? Well, of course not. But I ask because we’re endlessly told by our trusty national media that maintaining any sort of immigration control that doesn’t involve flinging open the doors to all of the world’s sick, poor, and even criminals amounts to white nationalism.

So if the Mexicans can do it, why can’t we?

The New York Post reported Friday that Mexican protesters on the other side of an Arizona port of entry attempted to block the Mexico-bound lane of traffic so as to not let anyone from the U.S. into the country.

“There are no health screenings by the federal government to deal with this pandemic,” one of the protesters told the New York Post. “That’s why we’re here in Nogales. We’ve taken this action to call on the Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador to act now.”

The number of infections is certain to go up, but as of this writing, there are nearly 92,000 diagnosed infections in the U.S. Mexicans are scared we’ll be the ones to get them sick. Does Joe Biden want to stand up and ask them to stop being so xenophobic? Does anyone on CNN or MSNBC want to confront Mexico’s “brown nationalism?”

Probably not.
