Who: Donald Trump What: He claimed that when Obama’s literary agent from the 1990s mistakenly wrote he was born in Kenya, he knew better than all the documentation to the contrary released since. “He didn’t know he [Obama] was running for president, so he told the truth,” Trump recently told Lloyd Grove. “The literary agent wrote down what he [Obama] said.”
Why it’s dim: Enough with the birther fantasies, Donald.
