Guess Trump’s November percentage: Chapter 2

Roger Stone, a longtime Trump adviser, was a partner in a consulting firm from 1981-90 with Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort, whom he met at the 1970 Connecticut Republican state convention. He says it’s going to be 50-50, like Kennedy-Nixon. Trump has the ability, Stone says, and there’s no mojo to Hillary’s campaign.

Peter Roskam, congressman from the 6th district of Illinois for the last 10 years, predicts the Trump percentage as 52 percent, with a late surge, “like a Brexit” — the late swing that resulted in a 52 percent vote for the United Kingdom to leave the European Union.

He says that his Chicago area Democratic colleague Dan Lipinski, often a dissenter from the Democratic leadership, says that Trump could carry his 3rd district, which with its large population of blue collar and ethnic whites extends from Midway Airport in Chicago west through the suburbs.
