Cory Booker isn’t the first Democrat to shout at a Republican woman

Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., is outraged. Outraged about what President Trump may have said when he was using tough language. Outraged that Republican colleagues are denying that Trump described Haiti and African nations as “shitholes.” So outraged even, that he dared get angry and motion directly at a woman.

Now of course, you may be wondering why liberals haven’t started #CensureCory or #StandForKirstjen campaigns. The reason is quite simple: new Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen is a willing participant in an anti-woman campaign called the Republican Party.

You won’t be reading tweets from Alyssa Milano denouncing Booker for directing negative vibes and raw anger at a strong, independent lioness.

Funny how the first major player of the #MeToo movement is now tweeting an about-face and is saying women in power have to be held accountable for their actions, rather than supporting Nielsen.

“Your silence and amnesia is complicit,” an emotional Booker raged towards Nielsen after she swore, under oath, before the Senate Judiciary Committee, that she did not hear Trump use the word in question — backing the affirmations of Sens. David Perdue, R-Ga., and Tom Cotton, R-Ark.

Watch Booker’s rant below (the “good” part starts around the 6:00 mark):

Sadly, this isn’t the first time a Democratic member of Congress has disrespectfully shouted at a Republican woman. Back in November 2017, pro-life activist Star Parker testified on behalf of the Heartbeat Bill before the House Judiciary Committee’s Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice. Parker had called it disingenuous that Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., brought up issues of Medicaid during her testimony against abortion. Watch Cohen’s frothing reaction below:

If Cohen were a Republican, and he had gone after a female Black Lives Matter activist, the reaction would have been outrage rather than ignorant silence. A man snaps at a woman, looks intimidating, raises his voice, and calls a black woman ignorant? Feminists would have a field day!

Let us not forget Cohen’s elitism, charging Parker with not knowing how to properly speak to the feudal lords in Congress

Don’t expect any #ShePersisted tweets for Kirstjen Nielsen anytime soon. Don’t expect any sassy Kamala Harris-type GIFs, or the Hillary Clinton sunglasses treatment for the DHS secretary. We can only expect more of the same.
