Johnson might just send Feingold’s job overseas

Rasmussen’s latest is pretty shocking, but not at all inconsistent with the other polls we’ve seen recently out of Wisconsin about the race between Republican Ron Johnson and Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold:

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Johnson picking up 54% support, while Feingold, who is running for his fourth term in the Senate, gets 42% of the vote with leaners included. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and two percent (2%) more are undecided.
The latest numbers move this race to Leans Republican from a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Balance of Power rankings.

Where is the DSCC? They’ve been spending money in Delaware, Missouri, Pennsylvania and apparently soon they’ll report buying airtime in Connecticut. But they’re nowhere to be found yet in this race.

Perhaps they’re thinking that Feingold will make a great ambassador somewhere next year.
