Report: Army, USPS pull ads from Limbaugh show

United States Army advertisements have been pulled from Rush Limbaugh’s show in the wake of the Sandra Fluke controversy, according to a new report on the full list of advertisers leaving the show.

“A memo being circulated by the distribution company behind Republican shock jock Rush Limbaugh has revealed a massive flight from Limbaugh’s program in the wake of his offensive comments about a Georgetown law student,” says rawstory.com. “And in a surprise reveal, it appears that the U.S. Army is among them.”

The United States Postal Service also pulled their ads, according to Think Progress, which also says that the Army confirmed that the ads were pulled. Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., hopes that the Armed Forces Network will stop broadcasting the show.

ThinkProgress says the list of sponsors dropping Rush was posted briefly on the Traffic Directors Guild of America, but the liberal blog took “a Google snapshot” of the list before the guild website took it down.
