Ever wonder how long it takes to do things like build a new iPHONE, erect the world’s tallest building, or create a best-selling family sedan? Probably not, but maybe you should.
Check out this new video from the House Financial Services Committee, which not only will tell you exactly how long it takes to do those extremely valuable things, but also how long it will take American businesses to comply with the onslaught of new federal regulations mandated by the Dodd-Frank monstrosity.
OK, I’ll go ahead and give you that latter figure. The committee uses data collected from various federal agencies to estimate that approximately 10.2 million man-hours per year will be required to comply with Dodd-Frank regulations.
So, which offers more value to our society, filling out paperwork for the bureaucrats in Washington or designing a new time and labor-saving device that not only makes life easier for American consumers, but also creates jobs and new wealth?
