Former-Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., – now the president of the Heritage Foundation – indicated on MSNBC Tuesday morning that his former senate colleague Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., is not a “Jim DeMint conservative.”
DeMint appeared on MSNBC with host Chuck Todd.
“Do you think Lindsey Graham is a Jim DeMint conservative?” asked Todd.
“I don’t think he would want to be called a Jim DeMint conservative,” DeMint admitted. “We’re all different so people will have to decide that for themselves.”
“Is it fair to call him a conservative?” Todd asked.
“Lindsey can tell you what he is himself,” DeMint said, with a grin. “I’m not speaking for him.”
