After all that embarrassing love we had earlier this week for Jake Tapper, it turns out that Jonathan Karl will be hosting ABC News’ “This Week,” but just for this week. Karl landed a big interview with former Vice President Dick Cheney (is there any other kind?) who, after reaching bizarre, post-office ubiquity, has lately been uncommonly subdued.
But no more! We eagerly await his gloomy Sunday morning prognostications on all failures White House-related.
And hey — the White House is not just going to sit back and take this aggression. The administration is trundling out Vice President Joe Biden for a counterpoint on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
We predict lots of fleecy goodness, because Biden is in Vancouver on official business heading up the U.S. Olympic delegation.
