Rush Limbaugh had Donald Trump on his show yesterday to talk about his thoughts on the country’s direction and a potential run for president.
“This is not a respected country anymore.” Trump stated, “I love this country. It’s got potential to be great again. But, really, Rush, it’s not great right now.”
As in his CPAC speech earlier this year, Trump angrily denounced China and the OPEC nations, saying as president he would fight against their influence on the American economy.
Trump also responded to critics who pointed out that he donated to Rahm Emanual’s mayoral campaign, reminding the audience that he was a businessman first and that Rahm’s brother Ari was a personal friend of his.
