President Obama has released a new video for his supporters in Massachusetts (aka Massachusettes) urging them to back Martha Coakley in order to take on the “health insurance industry” and “turn back the special interests.”
As a candidate who is in hot water for rubbing elbows at a fundraiser hosted by health insurance and drug lobbyists at a Capitol Hill wine bar, Coakley seems like a strange target for a “change Washington” pitch by the president.
While most of the unforced errors in this race have come from Coakley’s team, this gaffe comes from the White House.
