Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-NY, voted for Democratic nominee David Weprin in today’s special election to replace Weiner, who resigned earlier this year after posting embarrassing photos of himself on Twitter.
Weiner told reporters today that he voted for Weprin and added a brief endorsement, saying “I am confident he’d make an excellent congressman.”
Poll watchers for the Democratic Get Out the Vote effort can cross Weiner’s name off their lists.
