The Iron Butterfy
The Russian prime minister is back with another set of action photos — the shot above is from his recent vacation in Siberia. It’s not the first time he’s done this. Vladimir Putin in 2007 made the world uncomfortable, self-conscious and oddly quiet with a series of shirtless fishing photos.
The strongman stuff goes over well in Russia, apparently. ABC News notes Putin’s approval ratings have never dipped below 60 percent. The odd topless foray hasn’t hurt Obama, either — but the White House Flickr photostream is mercifully lacking presidential beefcake.
