The Chicago Tribune has prepared a graphic illustrating just how long it takes to get rid of a bad public school teacher. The short version is that it takes anywhere between 2-5 years and as many as 27 steps for the teacher to get booted. (Those public-sector unions, always working for the betterment of our kids.)
Bonus: Here’s an email uncovered by The Weekly Standard calling for the Chicago Teachers Union to support the Wisconsin public union protesters. Looks like Chicago teachers want to spread the joy of union “job security.”
