Herman Cain endorses ‘we the people,’ 999

Herman Cain offered an “unconventional” endorsement for president today, “we the people” (not his friend Newt Gingrich), and he promised to attempt to create a grassroots movement in support of his 999 plan.

“I am endorsing ‘we, the people,'” Cain told the audience at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference this afternoon. “It was the people who started this country, and we have allowed the politicians to take it from us,” Cain said to explain why he was making that endorsement but “not a candidate seeking the nomination, not someone thats not running.”

The former presidential candidate called for a “solutions revolution” driven by “brains and ballots” rather than the “bombs and bullets” of the American Revolution. Cain said that the “9-9-9 solution” will be the primary “solution” of this revolution. He told Sean Hannity recently that he is “considering” a radio or television show.

“I am not going to die not having done something to take our people back,” Cain said, acknowledging that “there are skeptics, just like there were skeptics when I made the decision to run for president.”
