President Obama’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has a lawsuit on its hand after DHS refused to hand over documents pertaining the arrest of President Obama’s illegal immigrant uncle, Onyango Obama
Judicial Watch believes Onyango Obama may have avoided deportation because of the president. “Given his family relationship to President Obama, the American people must be assured that the law is being impartially followed in this case,” Tom Fitton, who leads the government watchdog group, said in a statement.

Onyango Obama was ordered to leave the country in 1992, but did not go. When he was recently arrested for drunk driving, he asked to “call the White House” to get someone to bail him out. He would have lost his driver’s license, except that he was granted a “hardship license” that allows him to drive between noon and midnight.
DHS refused to honor Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information Act Request (FOIA) for all communications between the White House, the Executive Office of the President, the Department of Justice, and the local police department that arrested the president’s uncle.
“DHS has failed to turn over any records, explain why they should be withheld, or indicate when a response will be forthcoming,” Judicial Watch says.
