The morning after ‘reform’: A good day for some in Big Health

Drug companies, health insurers, and hospitals rallied early today, but then they gave back some of their gains. At the closing bell, the nation’s largest drug company, Pfizer, finished up 1.4% while hospital and rehab giant HealthSouth was up 3.7%.

Also outpacing the Dow today were insurance giants Cigna and Aetna, and drugmaker Merck. Many insurers (such as WellPoint) were down today, too. I’d be interested to figure out the difference.
