If early reports out of Los Angeles are any indication, it appears that the Occupy movement’s attempt to shut down the entire western seaboard has been comically ineffective.
According to The Los Angeles Times, only about 200 occupiers showed up this morning to block access to a pier at the Port of Long Beach. Los Angeles police have already moved in, made at least one arrest, and dispersed them.
As embarrassing as this show of unpopular support is, the propaganda the occupiers sent out promoting the protest isn’t bad. Check out this movie poster playing off The Empire Strikes Back.
