Former President George W. Bush delivered his yearly 9/11 tribute on his Facebook page Wednesday, but did so this year via the photo sharing app Instagram.
“Observing a moment of silence with staff of the George W. Bush Presidential Center this morning at 7:46 am in Dallas,” Bush wrote. “Exactly 12 years ago on September 11, 2001, the first plane struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.”
Bush then added a quote from his Sept. 12, 2001, speech: “These acts shattered steel, but they cannot dent the steel of American resolve.”
The former president even made use of a hashtag, closing with “We will #neverforget.” Bush joined Instagram on August 30, 2013.
