Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, like many of the Republican presidential candidates, will be setting out to win as much support as possible from GOP lawmakers. Part of this involves spreading PAC money to as many Republicans as possible. Romney has issued a list of the lates federal recipients, which I have included below. You’ll notice that there are no Iowans on this particular list, but you’ll see they figure prominently among the earlier recipients.
It’s worth keeping an eye on all of the presidential hopefuls’ PACs to see whom lawmakers are courting. That goes not only for contributions to federal elected officials, but state-level ones as well.
