Difference between Virginia and Wisconsin

Hans Bader noted yesterday how Wisconsin Democrats and union backers are making up false statistics about education in Wisconsin versus Virginia to prove there actually are benefits to collective bargaining. They had claimed that Virginia’s SAT and ACT scores are significantly lower than Wisconsin’s because Virginia does not have collective bargaining.

Bader writes me just now to point out that PolitiFact has confirmed the unionists’ numbers are false. But even here, they understate the case. The 2010 numbers show that Virginia beat out Wisconsin on ACT scores.
