Occupy Wall Street protesters crashed a Newt Gingrich speech in Iowa. When the protesters started up with their now-famous “mic check” routine, Gingrich — assuming that reasonable people were telling him to fix his microphone — asked “What’s wrong?”
Nothing was wrong with his microphone, but the protesters wanted him to tell him that he has a “callous and arrogant attitude towards poverty and poor people.”
