The final polls in Britain

The polls in Britain will be open for five more hours. The final nine poll results are here and here. The results are quite similar: The Consevratives average 35.56%, Labour 27.56% and Liberal Democrats 27.44%. If you plug those into a uniform-swing model, that would give the Conservatives 287 seats, Labour 244 and Lib Dems 87. However, the local experts don’t expect a uniform swing and believe that there will be a bigger swing to Conservatives (and Lib Dems) in their Labour target seats, with Conservatives probably netting more than 300 seats—probably enough to govern. So far as I have been able to discover, the results of the exit poll commissioned by the three TV networks (described here) are kept secret, as they are here; they will be announced promptly at 10pm (5pm Eastern Time), when the polls close.
