Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) was very upset yesterday about a Republican effort to roll back a provision of the Clean Air Ac as part of the onmibus bill.
“They have attached a poison pill — literally, colleagues — because it will kill 8,100 more people more than would have otherwise been killed from pollution,” Boxer said on the Senate floor yesterday, “So how’s that for a Christmas gift?”
