Gov. Rick Perry, R-Texas, pushed back against some legislative proposals raised by his rivals while calling for a rollback of executive agency regulations.
Perry said that Congress doesn’t need to pass more legislation to fix the economy. Instead, he proposed a “pull back” of the regulations imposed through executive authority. The Environmental Protection Agency’s recent carbon emissions regulations, for example, would be negated if such a proposal were implemented.
