The revolving door between Capitol Hill and K Street seems to be spinning faster than ever. It’s surprising to find a 2009 retiree who is not a registered lobbyist or a non-lobbyist lobbyist. This week, one more Republican joined the lobbying ranks.
Republican Joe Knollenberg of Michigan lost reelection in 2008, and now he is a lobbyist at the Public Policy Group based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Two lobbying registrations received last week show he has two local clients, The Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority and Road Commission For Oakland County.
