Obama jobs speech now campaign ad?

President Obama’s joint-session jobs speech last Thursday now provides the centerpiece of a campaign-style ad by the Democratic National Committee pushing the American Jobs Act, which Obama proposed last week in his speech.

The ad ends with the text “Pass the President’s Jobs Plan,” but the only audible language of the ad comes from Obama’s speech, as the DNC includes clips from that speech in which Obama talks about how “the next election is 14 months away” but tells Congress that “it is time for us to meet our responsibilities” to the poor by passing the American Jobs Act.

In short, the DNC ad topically deals with the American Jobs Act, but hammers a campaign message to which Obama will return for the next, oh, 14 months.
