Saying it is his “moment to step aside,” Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., announced he will not seek a sixth term in November.
Dodd made the announcement in Connecticut, telling constituents he started thinking about retiring while visiting the Arlington Cemetery grave of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., on Christmas Eve.
