After an embarrassing false start last week, House Republicans will produce their alternative — read, their number-filled alternative —
to the president’s budget proposal tomorrow. Rep. Paul Ryan will publish an op-ed in tomorrow’s Wall Street Journal laying out the proposal and how it will, according to Republicans, result in deficits far smaller than the White House and Democrats are proposing.
Ryan will also present the alternative budget at a news conference scheduled for 10:30 Wednesday morning.
