Holder: More people will ‘probably’ die

Attorney General Eric Holder told a House panel today that Operation Fast and Furious, a gunwalking program that Holder agreed was “reckless,” will “probably” result in more drug-related deaths.

When asked if “more people are going to die” because of the program, Holder replied, “Unfortunately, I think that’s probably true.” He also said that Operation Fast and Furious is “going to continue to have tragic consequences.”

Holder said the program “was flawed,” when asked to agree with a legislator’s characterization of the operation. “Reckless” — yeah, I’d probably agree with that,” he said.
