Sarah Palin gave another not-quite-endorsement of Newt Gingrich this evening, praising his decision to stay in the primary even though he’s only won his home state of Georgia today.

“I’m glad he’s staying in it,” Palin said of Gingrich on Fox News this evening. Asked about Rick Santorum’s contention that Gingrich is dividing the conservative, anti-Romney vote, Palin dismissed the complaint. “Oh, boo-hoo,” she said. Of course they all want one another to drop out, but I don’t support that idea.”

“At this point, it doesn’t make any sense for anyone to drop out and concede that he can’t be the nominee,” she also said, before reiterating her position that competition is good for the Republican primary.
