Senate Democrats’ prospects continue to decline. On the heels of this week’s retirement announcements from Sen. Byron Dorgan, D-N.D. and Chris Dodd, D-Conn., a new poll from Rasmussen Reports shows Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., trailing by nine or ten points against four different Republican nobodies.
Although Dodd’s retirement probably improves Democrats’ chances of keeping the seat, Dorgan’s seat is a strong favorite for a takeover.
