If we were to climb into President
Joe Biden
’s shoes for an uncomfortable moment, to put down the Jell-O and consider his ideal election campaign as we approach 2024, what would it look like?
Well, one Republican front-runner would perpetuate Democrats’ favorite “battle for democracy” narrative, with the Left framing Biden as the lone defense against an ultra-MAGA collection of extreme Republicans who supposedly tried to overthrow the country in a violent coup on

TRUMP CAMPAIGN HAULS IN $1.5 MILLION AMID INDICTMENT FERVOR
This strategy seems likely, given that this is the precise narrative the Democratic Party and its media comrades have been forcing down our throats since that cold winter day in Washington. But while most people simply don’t view Jan. 6 as a political priority, this false narrative is being dangerously reinforced by our own side. How? Former President Donald Trump is personally hand-delivering this gift-wrapped strategy on a silver platter.
Consider a recent post on Trump’s platform,
Truth Social
:
“What kind of person can charge another person, in this case a former President of the United States, who got more votes than any sitting President in history, and leading candidate (by far!) for the Republican Party nomination, with a Crime, when it is known by all that NO Crime has been committed, & also known that potential death & destruction in such a false charge could be catastrophic for our Country? Why & who would do such a thing? Only a degenerate psychopath that truely hates the USA!”
Setting aside the stereotypical assault on spelling, grammar, and punctuation, there are several words included here that will spark alarm bells (of celebration) on the Left: “potential death & destruction.”
First, it’s utterly unconscionable for Trump to be stirring up any form of violence — let alone in response to a questionable legal situation that may or may not result in an actual charge. (It has resulted, however, in a shameless
multimillion-dollar fundraising
opportunity for the Trump campaign, which is seeking financial support from everyday people for whom, in the current economic climate, every dollar counts.)
But setting aside the immorality of Trump’s cynicism and bizarre wink at the potential for violence, which also included calls for protest that thankfully never materialized, Trump’s comments are politically idiotic.
Ironically, while Trump is being targeted by the Left’s latest political witch hunt for supposedly breaking election law with alleged hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels, his current actions could be described as an in-kind campaign contribution to Team Biden.
After all, what could be better news for Biden — whose administration has overseen an immigration crisis, a looming banking collapse, transportation chaos, the implosion of international peace, and total economic disaster — than Trump threatening violence if he doesn’t get what he wants? This only adds fuel to the otherwise extinguished notion that the conservative movement is motivated by a violent desire to overturn democracy.
If we fight Biden on the issues — really, any issue — conservatives will win.

If we fight Biden on the framing of Jan. 6, with the help of Trump’s inability to control his thumbs, conservatives will lose.
