Poll: Government shutdown blame divided between Republicans and Democrats

Americans appear willing to blame both Republicans and Democrats if there is a government shutdown, according to a new Pew Research Poll.

Thirty-nine percent would blame the Republicans and 36 percent would blame President Obama, according to a poll of 1,003 adults. Seventeen percent of those polled volunteered that both parties would be equally to blame.
