On the same day the Romney campaign released a new video attacking President Obama’s decision to waste billions on bankrupt clean energy companies, American Crossroads, the so-called Super PAC advised by Karl Rove, released a similar video on the same theme. Titled “Public Equity,” the Crossroads video mentions Solyndra, but also hits Obama over auto bailout job losses and the failures of 11 other energy firms.
“Failed investment strategies. Jobs eliminated. Billions lost. Public Equity President Obama played Wall Street games with our money,” a voice over reads near the end of the ad before Obama’s voice finishes: “This is not a distraction. This is what this campaign is going to be about.”
