Massachusetts congressman Barney Frank is famous for his down-the-line advocacy for liberal governmental policies, particularly when it comes to domestic spending. He also appears to be very adamant about business establishments giving out senior citizen discounts according to the New York Post.
Waiting for a ferry ride to the popular gay New York tourist resort Fire Island Pines, Frank apparently became irate after a ferry worker refused to give him a $1 senior citizen discount because he did not have the proper identification.
If only he were as irate about the hundreds of billions that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have spent subsidizing mortgages for people who couldn’t afford them.
