Ana Navarro makes baseless race-baiting accusations regarding Kyrsten Sinema

Ana Navarro-Cárdenas has never met a baseless racial accusation she didn’t like.

The View commentator was apparently peeved at the outfit that maverick Democratic Sen. Kyrsten Sinema wore on the Senate floor, voicing her displeasure on Twitter. She went even further and made it a racial issue when it had absolutely, positively nothing to do with race. As the Washington Examiner previously reported, Navarro-Cárdenas tweeted a person of color could not wear the type of outfit Sinema did.

“I really don’t care who gets triggered by me bringing race into this,” Navarro-Cárdenas tweeted. “The truth is, no woman of color could possibly dress like this, and act like this, and be taken seriously, much less elected. I suspect every Black woman and Latina reading this knows what I’m talking about.”

I personally found Sinema’s attire tasteless and unprofessional. She wore a denim vest, skirt, and what appeared to be sneakers. Also, her demeanor in the video that went viral seemed unprofessional. She was tossing her hair and checking her cellphone while wearing a denim vest and presiding president pro tempore of the Senate. What’s next, shorts and flip-flops? Her attire appeared to violate the Senate’s dress code. But that has absolutely nothing to do with race.

We are far past the point at which we must seriously ask the question, “What is wrong with these people that they constantly insert race into situations that have nothing to do with race?” It’s almost as if they are bad faith contributors to the debate who will attribute racist motives to anyone they disagree with.
