Longtime U.S. Sen. Max Baucus, Montana Democrat, announced he will not seek a seventh term. He faced a tough re-election battle, having placed a key roll in passing the Affordable Healthcare Act, otherwise known as Obamacare, which is unpopular in his state. He recently declared the implementation of the law “a train wreck.”
