Democrats omit ‘illegal’ when talking about immigrants at ‘No Kings’ rally

During this weekend’s George Soros-funded “I hate America” rallies, colloquially referred to as the “No Kings,” immigration was a regular theme among speakers throughout the country. Yet, when speaking about immigration, many, if not all, omitted the word “illegal” before mentioning immigration. It was also a practice embraced by protesters around the country participating in the far-left-wing demonstrations.

For example, in one of the gatherings, one of the participants reportedly held a sign that read, “No hate, no fear, immigrants are welcome here.” It’s indicative of the radical left-wing political messaging that seeks to brainwash Americans. The rationale is that if liberals, Democrats, and others on the Left can indoctrinate the masses to associate regular, honest, law-abiding immigrants with foreigners who enter and live in the country illegally, they can eventually influence public opinion.

It’s dishonest, deceitful, and predicated on being uninformed, but then again, so were arguably many of the people in the “I hate America” gatherings throughout the country.

Consider the words of far-left-wing political pundit Mehdi Hasan, who spoke at Washington, D.C.’s iteration of the “No Kings” rally. Standing behind bulletproof glass and wearing a hoodie advertising the “media company” he “founded” — after his MNBC show was canceled — Hasan spoke about immigrants, chastising President Donald Trump. He, too, engaged in the deceitful practice of not mentioning the legal status of immigrants, and did so at a large political gathering where, allegedly, hundreds of thousands of people heard his words live and millions more on social media.

“The great irony is, of course, that Donald Trump is the son of an immigrant,” Hasan said

“The grandson of an immigrant and married to an immigrant. In fact, two of his three wives were immigrants,” he added, before making a joke about Trump’s marriages.

Notice the word that Hasan omitted? The word “illegal” was absent in his rant about immigration. So, too, were any of the nonsensical ways liberals, Democrats, and others on the Left use to describe illegal immigrants, whether it is “undocumented” or any other contemporary phrase. The point is that Hasan conflated immigrants with foreigners who entered and live in the country illegally.

I encourage Hasan to reread Trump’s executive order issued about illegal immigration; he would know the president is against illegal immigrants, not immigrants.

“Over the last 4 years, the prior administration invited, administered, and oversaw an unprecedented flood of illegal immigration into the United States.  Millions of illegal aliens crossed our borders or were permitted to fly directly into the United States on commercial flights and allowed to settle in American communities, in violation of longstanding Federal laws,” read Trump’s directive.

”Many of these aliens unlawfully within the United States present significant threats to national security and public safety, committing vile and heinous acts against innocent Americans,” read the executive order. “Many have abused the generosity of the American people, and their presence in the United States has cost taxpayers billions of dollars at the Federal, State, and local levels.”

QUARTER-MILLION AMERICANS HAVE APPLIED TO BORDER PATROL AND ICE UNDER TRUMP

“Enforcing our Nation’s immigration laws is critically important to the national security and public safety of the United States,” read Trump’s directive.

Trump is, and has always been, against illegal immigration, not immigration. Democrats can’t honestly and intelligently refute such a position, especially after the disastrous immigration policies and porous national border of the Biden administration. So, to deflect, distract, and manipulate people and influence public opinion, Democrats do what they arguably do best: fearmonger, engage in hyperbolic hysteria, and lie. If left-wing arguments about illegal immigration had any veracity or legitimate value, there would be no need to engage in such rhetorical deceit.
