Introducing White House ballroom construction derangement syndrome

Hell hath no fury like Democrats’ scorn for President Donald Trump renovating the White House!

As construction started on the new White House ballroom in the East Wing on Monday, liberals, Democrats, and others on the Left began to lose their minds. Multiple left-wing politicians, pundits, journalists, influencers, and other social media personalities expressed dismay and righteous indignation over the president of the United States renovating his residence. In typical fashion, they went apoplectic on social media about the construction, recycling their usual hysterics and doomsday prognostications. As such, it’s time we introduce the latest liberal, Democrat, left-wing psychosis: White House ballroom construction derangement syndrome.

White House ballroom construction derangement syndrome shall henceforth be known as the condition predicated on an irrational and overly emotional response to the president renovating an 80-year-old section of the White House to create a luxurious new ballroom, using private contributions to fund the changes. The Democratic response to this has been altogether absurd, easily rivaling anything the Left has been outraged over regarding Trump. It’s been so over the top that the only thing seemingly missing was assertions that building the ballroom was fascist, Nazi, or something Adolf Hitler would do.

The renovations have been labeled everything from “destroying history” to “an abuse of power.” Their rants have just become absurd tantrums rooted in envy and jealousy. Trump should hand out pearls to Democrats for Halloween to ensure they have plenty in stock for all of their clutching.

Consider these unhinged hysterics by Democrats over renovations to the White House.

Multiple-time failed presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, said, “It’s not his house. It’s your house. And he’s destroying it.”

This is not only overreactive and dishonest but also hypocritical, given that the Clinton administration renovated the White House when she was first lady. It wasn’t to the extent of adding a ballroom, but, like Trump’s construction, it was also funded by contributions and donations.

Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) posted on X that Trump was destroying the White House.

“Donald Trump doesn’t want you to see this picture,” Newsom posted. “He’s literally destroying the White House.”

Martha Joynt Kumar, a political scientist and retired professor from Towson University, somehow landed real estate in the Washington Post to claim that “they’re wrecking” the White House and “destroying that history forever.”

“They’re wrecking it,” said Kumar. “And these are changes that can’t be undone. They’re destroying that history forever.”

Kumar might be shocked to know of all the changes presidents have made to the White House over the years. Yet, somehow, when presidents not named Trump did this, history was not being “destroyed.”

This is White House ballroom construction derangement syndrome.

And speaking of the Washington Post, the news organization published an article on Wednesday, “Can anyone stop Trump’s teardown of the East Wing?”

All of this is nothing more than White House ballroom construction derangement syndrome. But wait, there’s more!

Other examples include the obsessed Never Trumper Rick Wilson, the Lincoln Project executive who famously incorrectly boasted that Trump would lose to Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. Wilson was irate over the White House enhancements. He has a long history of being wrong in politics and, as demonstrated below, suffers from a lack of grammar knowledge when posting on social media.

“I hate him with the fire of a billions [sic] suns,” Wilson posted on X.

Left-wing, former CNN employee, and agenda-driven “journalist” Jim Acosta, while either being uninformed of White House history or just outright ignoring it, asked, “So any president can just start destroying portions of the White House? Is that how this works?”

MSNBC analyst Fernand R. Amandi might have topped all of the comments. He somehow linked Trump’s White House renovations to the Democrats’ favorite bogeyman, especially Democrats between 2016 and 2020, Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Above an image of the construction on the East Wing, Amandi said, “Putin watching the greatest triumph of his life.”

Because putting a 90,000 square foot ballroom in the White House is a Putin manipulation and Russian collusion.

This way of thinking is disturbing and not normal! Acosta, Amandi, and Kumar have White House ballroom construction derangement syndrome.

JOHNSON SAYS THOSE UPSET ABOUT WHITE HOUSE BALLROOM HAVE ‘TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME’

There were many more examples, all equally absurd and ridiculous. It’s indicative of the mental abnormalities that dominate contemporary left-wing political thought. And given such anger and hysteria, is it any wonder that depression and other mental health concerns are more prevalent in liberals, Democrats, and others on the Left?

White House ballroom construction derangement syndrome is real and is currently dominating the rhetoric of the nation’s political Left. Their sole purpose in life appears to be just to be angry over anything and everything President Donald Trump does, even when the accusations are a complete detachment from reality. Like nearly everything these people say anymore, their antics are not grounded in reality and are completely unhinged.
