Democrats exploit victims’ trauma as Epstein files are the new ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’

Democrats are weaponizing the trauma of Jeffrey Epstein’s victims for political gains. They mentioned nothing about the survivors during Joe Biden’s presidency and only chose to do so now to use it to try to hurt President Donald Trump politically.

The Democrats finally seem to have devised a plan to try to bring down Trump. Unfortunately, their plan does nothing to help the 330 million people who reside in the country and is predicated on silly, vengeful, petty, and dishonest claims. It’s a recycled strategy ripped from the failed Democratic playbook of yesteryear. This year’s performative blockbuster and hyperbolic production is the Epstein files. The objective is to whip the country into a frenzy over serious allegations without any legitimate, truthful, or damning evidence of wrongdoing.

Meet the new plan of the Democrats, it’s the same as the old plan of the Democrats, for the “Epstein files” is the new “Russia, Russia, Russia.”

Since the summer, the Democrats have been clamoring for Republicans and President Donald Trump to release the so-called “Epstein files.” Trump has been reluctant to do so, and Democrats have weaponized this hesitance to try to manipulate people into believing it is a sign of guilt or wrongdoing by Trump. It has been going on for months, and despite many thinly veiled accusations and a fair number of not-so-thinly-veiled ones, Democrats haven’t produced any evidence that Trump was involved in any of the disgraceful crimes committed by Epstein.

Sound familiar? If so, it’s because it’s very similar to the strategy Democrats used during Trump’s first term to sabotage his political agenda. For years, Democrats claimed they had significant proof that Trump was in cahoots with Russia and Vladimir Putin, the country’s president. In the end, none of it was true. It was all an embellishment, and Trump was never charged with anything illegal or wrongdoing. It would be shocking if this episode of Democratic performative hysteria about dishonest claims of Trump’s wrongdoing turned out any differently.

Why? Let’s consider the facts.

Epstein was arrested on July 6, 2019, on federal charges of sex trafficking underage women in Florida and New York. A little over a month later, he died by suicide in his jail cell, over six years ago. Contemporary rhetoric calling for Epstein’s files to be released aside, a simple analysis will show that since his death, Democrats have rarely mentioned anything, if at all, about his crimes, files, or anything related to his illegal activities. They certainly said nothing when it came to getting justice for Epstein’s victims.

Years passed, and Democrats were as quiet as can be. From Jan. 20, 2021, to Jan. 20, 2025, Biden was president every day. Democrats had complete control over the White House and the Justice Department. Consider all the recent statements by Democratic politicians demanding the release of the Epstein files and proclaiming the need to get justice for his victims. Then look at all of their statements, social media posts, images, photos, videos, or legislative actions in Congress to see how often any of them mentioned anything about releasing the Epstein files or getting justice for his victims. You’d be hard-pressed to find many during this time.

The Epstein files and justice for his victims only became an important issue for Democrats when a political strategist somewhere ordered the Democratic National Committee to make it a political point of attack against Trump. It’s their despicable brand of exploitative and performative politics at its worst. They are exploiting the horrors, atrocities, and trauma of Epstein’s trafficking victims for political gain.

EVERY HOUSE REPUBLICAN, BAR ONE, VOTES TO RELEASE EPSTEIN FILES

For example, Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-PA) posted on X that she, and many other Democrats in Congress, attended a candlelight vigil “in solidarity with the Epstein survivors.” Yet, where were such vigils during the entire Biden presidency? The answer is that no such vigils were held by congressional Democrats. They weren’t held because Democrats didn’t care about the victims. And, given their egregious pandering, it’s a safe bet to assume they still don’t. They’re just weaponizing the trauma of these victims for political gain.

Epstein’s victims unquestionably deserve justice. And whoever might be found to have been involved or participated in his crimes or any other illegal activities must be held accountable. However, let’s stop acting as if Democrats are their defenders. Actions speak louder than words, and the Democrats’ inaction between 2021 and 2025 spoke volumes.
