Yes, applauding Perry's execution record is creepy

Supporting the death penalty is a majority opinion. Wanting certain criminals executed is understandable. Applauding at the fact Rick Perry has the record for executing convicts, though? That’s creepy. Watch the video above.

I oppose the death penalty in almost every case. Texas has a very different standard from me. I think that’s bad. I understand most people disagree with me, and very many people probably agree with Texas’s standards. But even if you want the punishment for more crimes to be execution, it seems to me that every execution should be a sad, or somber occasion — and the sum of them ought to be the same.
