Rahm Emanuel for President? No…

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel dismissed rumors that he might run for president with Chris Christie-esque force, during an interview with MSNBC’s Harry Smith.

Faced with the suggestion that he’s using the mayoral office as a springboard for a presidential campaign, Emanuel said he’ll never try to be leader of the free world. “Not interested. Not going to do it,” Emanuel said.  “No. I’ll do it in Hebrew, Lo.”

Emanuel thinks people shouldn’t be surprised at his reticence. “Maybe you’ve got your profiles [for presidential candidates] wrong; ever thought of that?”
