That’s a line that a liberal friend of mine has been dying to use. With Sen. Arlen Specter, D-Pa., defeated, it’s finally appropriate. Like the man in the story who tried to flee death, Specter fled the GOP to escape the end of his political career, only to meet it in another place — in the Democratic primary.
