Pro-criminal judges are responsible for releasing the most despicable, depraved criminals back onto the streets to victimize the public. There needs to be a concerted national movement to identify and remove these judges through any available legal means.
One of the most galling examples comes from Kentucky, where Christopher Thompson was convicted of kidnapping, sodomy, and sexual abuse. Thompson abducted a random woman in her car, raped her, drove to an ATM to rob her, and then raped her again. The jury recommended a sentence of 65 years.
OUR SYSTEM IS BROKEN FOR ‘INSANE’ CRIMINALS
For some context into the mindset of this rapist, here are some on-the-record quotes he made in the courtroom: “D**** s*****, f**** y’all kids, and f**** y’all’s dead loved ones,” and “Eat my d****, b****. I’m going to pop your *** and s*** my d***, b****.” He also has a long criminal record, dating back to crimes he committed as a juvenile.
If Thompson’s kidnapping and repeatedly raping a woman is somehow not enough to convince you, his actions in court show that he is clearly irredeemable. He is incapable of functioning in society. He should be locked up forever. Instead, Judge Tracy Davis cut his sentence to 30 years because Thompson is a black man who she believed could be an “asset to society.” Davis thought the rapist kidnapper could be redeemed, even though he interrupted her social justice grandstanding repeatedly, saying such things as “I don’t have sympathy for nobody,” “I don’t have sympathy for you, the victim, the victim’s family,” “Boohoo,” and “I don’t care.”
THE CALIFORNIA MODEL: TAKING THE ‘CRIMINAL’ OUT OF THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM
Davis’s worldview is delusional, destructive, and runs against any concept of justice. She expressly denied giving this remorseless monster 65 years because that is an “extremely long time.” Davis apparently believes that career criminals should not serve an “extremely long time” behind bars for kidnapping and raping women. Worse, she viewed Thompson as a victim of society, someone who simply “fell through the cracks” and became a remorseless rapist.
If Davis wants to become a defense attorney, she is welcome to do so, but she is clearly unfit to serve as a judge. She is imposing a fantastical worldview on the public, one where every remorseless rapist is just a poor victim of societal racism who can change for the better, even if they threaten to kill the prosecuting attorney at the trial for their rape and kidnapping charges. Judges like Davis should be removed from office because they are torturing the criminal justice system, twisting it to help release criminals rather than secure justice and protect people.
