Just pass 11pm Mitt Romney plunged ahead of Rick Santorum in Ohio. With almost all the precincts remaining unreported in pro-Romney counties in the big metro areas, it seems very likely that Romney will carry Ohio by a margin slightly narrower than his margin last week in Michigan. Again his margins came largely from affluent precincts and again self-identified Democrats opted for Santorum. More later.
