Holder warns Issa: ‘You act at your peril’

Attorney General Eric Holder warned House Oversight and Government Reform chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., that Issa risks violating a court order regarding wire-taps pertaining to Operation Fast and Furious.

“You act at your peril if you think that’s the truth,” Holder responded when Issa said that the House investigators, like the press, are exempt from a court order sealing wire-taps if whistleblowers or other people give them the wire-taps.

Holder indicated that he might have to investigate the handling of wire-tap applications if he thinks that someone is “acting against a court order” sealing those wire-taps.
