Rumors of Herman Cain’s imminent endorsement of Newt Gingrich have been greatly exaggerated, according to “sources close to Cain.”
“Per sources close to Herman Cain, the former contender is not in New York, will not appear at Newt Gingrich’s Big Apple press conference, and will not make any endorsement at all today,” writes NRO’s Robert Costa.
Cain hails from Georgia, where Fox’s Atlanta affiliate reported that he was intending to endorse Gingrich today.
